UPDATE 2:30 PM: Officials with the Federal Aviation Administration have reported that the plane was a twin-engine BE20 departing the Little Rock airport for John Glenn Columbus International Airport in Ohio.

The FAA reported five people were on board the plane, and deputies at the scene said there were no survivors found.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Pulaski County Emergency Services has confirmed a plane has crashed in Pulaski County near the 3M Plant on Highway 365 and Walters Road.

Emergency officials were alerted of the crash at 12:02 p.m.

According to scanner traffic the plane is a twin-engine plane, and high winds from a storm system passing through the area may be a factor in the crash.

No information is available on the condition of any passengers inside of the plane, but officials do report 10 people were on board.
