Jefferson County Election Commission Chair Mike Adam joined Oldies 1013 morning show with Will Jenkins and Greg Horne to discuss this year’s primary election. After being asked if anything new was happening with the election day process, Adam responded by stating that today, Friday, May 20th is the last day to turn in absentee ballots.
He also mentioned an option for those that may not have an ID.
After being asked about the polling sites, Adam explained more about how to find a list of those locations.
On the topic of voting day, Adam mentioned that the polls will be open from 7:30 am until 7:30 pm Tuesday, May 24th. He added that voters still in line when the poll closes will still be able to vote and emphasized, “do not leave the line if it’s still long once the polls have closed”.
