Pine Bluff Third Ward City Council candidate Colton Edwards was a guest on the Oldies 101.3 Morning Show Friday to talk about things he doesn’t like about the way money is spent, and things he wants to do if elected.

Edwards filed as an independent and is facing William Fells, who won the Democratic Party nomination by defeating current Third Ward Council Member Glen Brown Sr.

Edwards was asked why he wanted to be on the City Council and answered this way.

Morning Show host Greg Horne asked Edwards about some of the projects he thinks money should not have been spent on and where some of that money should have gone.

Later in the interview, Edwards voiced his support for term limits.

Horne said that term limits takes away the right of people to vote for who they want to represent them but at the same time, some people get into office and become entrenched.
