Update:
The Pine Bluff Police Department identifies the homicide victim as Theodis Morris, 47.
Detectives are still investigating but have not yet given any information on a suspect or motive.
PINE BLUFF —Police were called early Thursday morning to an apartment complex at 13th and Maple Street in Pine Bluff.
Police say the shooting occurred just after 1:00 a.m. Officers said when they arrived on scene, they located a male lying in front of an apartment door.
The victim had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was dead when police arrived.
PBPD says it appears the victim had been shot in the parking lot and then ran a short distance before collapsing in front of apartment # seven on the south side of the building.
Detectives have not released a motive or suspect information.
This makes the city’s eleventh homicide in 2018.
