Senior QB Terrance Brown of the Dollarway Cardinal has won the week 9 Kevin Bonnette State Farm Deltaplex Radio Jefferson County Player of the Week. Brown accounted for 4 TDs in the Cardinal’s 48-7 win November 1st vs Palestine-Wheatley. Brown had 131 passing yards and 2 TD’s to go along with his 106 rushing yards and 2 TDs.
Dollarway travels to Rison this week for huge showdown with the conference Championship on the line against the 3A number 1 ranked Wildcats. When asked about the game Brown said they are “going there with the intention of winning”. The do it all SR is expected to not only take all the snaps behind center but play in the defensive backfield because of the huge nature of the game. Regardless of the outcome tomorrow evening, Dollarway will continue on to the state playoffs next week.
