DeWitt, Ar is showing support for a student injured in an ATV accident on Mother’s day.

15 year old DeWitt freshman Kenlee St. John who’s a straight A student, All-American Cheerleader, basketball player and participates in track, was in an ATV accident on Sunday.

“She was always very competitive and just a good friend to everybody. Always see her with a smile on her face,” DeWitt High School head basketball and softball coach Chris Clinton said.

Her arm was severed and she was airlifted to Arkansas Children’s in Little Rock.

Monday, the Dewitt Baseball and Softball Association donated all ballpark admission funds to Kenlee’s family.

What usually brings in 800 dollars more than tripled that night with a donation of 3,100 dollars to the family.

Her basketball coach Chris Clinton believes it’s a testament to the community, and Kenlee.

With t-shirt sales and a bake sale Saturday May 18th in The Kroger parking lot, the community isn’t finished showing just how #kenleestrong they are.

Donations can be made directly to Farmers and Merchants Bank or on GoFundMe. Search “Karing for Kenlee.”
