A Desha County man has been charged with first-degree murder after another man was shot to death May 20.
According to the McGehee Dermott Times-News, Roy Lee Owens Jr., 19, us accused of shooting Floyd Evans, 19, who was found in the driver’s seat of a vehicle at 416 Rankin Street in Dumas. Multiple shell casings were found around the vehicle.
The newspaper reported that witnesses at the scene identified Owens as the shooter.
