The Arkansas State Police are reportedly investigating the death of a Dermott man Sept. 22 as a homicide.
According to the McGehee Dermott Times-News newspaper, Edward Lewis Jr., 43, was found dead inside a residence at 705 N. Haley St. The body was sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
The newspaper reported that state police have not released any details on how Lewis died and said the investigation into the death is continuing.
