Wednesday is United Way Day on Oldies 1013 and this week, Jacqueline Ross of the Delta Network Food Bank joined Leslie Dorn, Executive Director of the United Way to talk about a food distribution event this Saturday.
Ross was asked to discuss the event and she said this.
She said the food distribution will take place between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., or until the food runs out.
Asked who is eligible to receive the donated food, Ross said this.
Each family who fills out a registration card will receive a box of chicken.
