Dave Grohl is directing a TV adaptation of From Cradle to Stage, the book written by his mom, Virginia Hanlon Grohl.

The six-part, unscripted series — which will premiere on the Paramount+ streaming service — is described as a “dynamic personal exploration of the special relationship between successful musicians and their moms.”

“Each episode features a famous performer and their mom as well as Dave and Virginia,” a press release says.

From Cradle to Stage the book was first released in 2017. It consists of Virginia interviewing the moms of musicians including Beastie BoysMike D, R.E.M.‘s Michael Stipe, the HAIM sisters, Amy Winehouse, Dr. Dre and Maroon 5‘s Adam Levine.

Paramount+ is set to launch March 4.
