Dave Grohl and his 15-year-old daughter, Violet, have released their first song together.

The pair teamed up for a cover of the song “Nausea” by beloved West Coast punk band X. You can download the joint performance now via digital outlets.

The cover was recorded for What Drives Us, an upcoming documentary about van touring culture directed by the elder Grohl. The film — which features Flea of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica‘s Lars Ulrich, AC/DC‘s Brian Johnson and The Beatles Ringo Starr, among many others — will premiere April 30 as part of The Coda Collection, a new, music-focused subscription streaming channel on Amazon Prime Video.

While the “Nausea” recording marks Dave and Violet’s first official release as a collaborative duo, the father-daughter pair has performed together numerous times in the live setting. Violet joined her dad for a performance of Adele‘s “When We Were Young” in 2018 and Nirvana‘s “Heart-Shaped Box” in 2020.
