Dave Grohl narrates a new commercial for Ram Trucks.

The ad begins with the Foo Fighters frontman reciting a list of ways to “make a rock star.”

“Start them young,” Grohl says over footage of parents and their kids taking part in different activities together, including dancing and playing baseball.

“Let them fail, and be there when they do,” he continues. “Teach them what you know, and let them teach you what you don’t. Believe in their dreams — the crazier, the more wild and absurd, the better. Because bringing out the best of them, takes the very best of us.”

The commercial ends with the message “There’s a rock star in all of us” as Foo Fighters’ Medicine at Midnight track “Making a Fire” plays in the background.

In related Dave Grohl happenings, the rocker’s new docuseries From Cradle to Stage premieres today on Paramount+. The show is based on his mom Virginia Hanlon Grohl‘s book of the same name, and finds the mother-son duo talking with other musicians and their moms.

The first episode features Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds and his mother, Christene Reynolds.
