Jefferson Regional Hospital is hosting a COVID-19 vaccination clinic Wednesday morning featuring retired Dallas County’s Wide Receiver and one of the newest members of the National Football League Hall of Fame Drew Pearson.
On Tuesday, Hospital spokeswoman Wendy Talbot talked about the clinic on the Oldies 101.3 morning show.
Talbot said the Healthworks building is behind Popeye’s and Taco Bell in the Watson Chapel area.
She was asked how it came about that Pearson would be coming to Pine Bluff to promote vaccinations.
Vaccinations are given at Healthworks from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and no appointment is necessary.
Talbot was also asked about the number of patients currently in the hospital with COVID and said as of Tuesday morning there were twenty-three. Of those, only three are vaccinated.
