STAR CITY- Court dates have been set for 38-year-old David Black and 29-year-old Mary Black in the murder of their 11-year-old son.
Both have been charged with Capital Murder for the June murder in Star City. The pre-trail hearing is set for October 7th at 1:30pm in the Lincoln County Courthouse. The jury trial is set for November 11th at 8:30am
On June 16th in Star City, the police were called to the scene concerning Joseph Carsello not breathing. He was pronounced dead at 4:57pm by JRMC staff. The medical examiner, Jennefer Forsyth ruled multiple blunt force injuries were the cause of the 11-year-old’s death and ruled it a homicide.
