Jefferson County Judge Gerald Robinson is reviving an event that he first held when he was county sheriff by bringing back a Family Fun Day this Saturday at Martin Luther King Park.

Appearing on the Oldies 1013 morning show Wednesday, Robinson said the fun begins at 8 a.m. with a fishing tournament.

Robinson went on to say that no-count money will be involved in the event, thanks to sponsors like Bill Jones at Sissy’s Log Cabin, Central Moloney, CARTI, the P-3 Group, Saracen Casino, and others.

Morning show host Greg Horne asked Robinson what will follow the fishing tournament and he responded this way.

Robinson then talked about the grand prize that will be awarded at the end of the day)
