County Judge discusses new buildings and bank helpWed, August 18, 2021 by Deseray MckinzySHARE NOW County Judge Gerald RobinsonHomeLocal NewsCounty Judge discusses new buildings and bank helpBy Ray KingJefferson County Judge Gerald Robinson on Wednesday said that construction on the new Veteran’s Service Center, Coroner’s Office, and Jefferson County Health Department are all about 70 percent complete.Appearing on the Oldies 101.3 morning show, Robinson said he told representatives of the P3 group that is overseeing the projects that he wanted local contractors to participate.When the buildings are completed, they will be leased to the county and Robinson said Simmons Bank holds the bonds.Simmons also donated $1 million to the construction of the Health Department and Veteran’s Service Office.Robinson said Simmons was instrumental in Go Forward Pine Bluff and praised its efforts.
