Pine Bluff City Council member Joni Alexander joined the Oldies 101.3 morning show to discuss the Tuesday night meeting at Pine Bluff High School where Superintendent Barbara Warren shared information on facility plans.

Only two city council members showed up to the event. Alexander was not one of them. She explained why she did not attend the meeting.

Alexander was asked about the limited ability board that was mentioned in Tuesday night’s meeting. She gave her opinion about the board saying

It was mentioned at the meeting that there is a proposal to move Pine Bluff High School students to the Jack Robey campus in the fall of 2022 due to safety issues. Pine Bluff Police Chief Lloyd Franklin, Jr. has gone on record with Deltaplex News stating he has reached out to Warren to try to speak with her about safety issues, but hasn’t received a phone call or any time to speak with her concerning the matter. Alexander spoke about this as well.
