After being shut down for an extended period of time because of the coronavirus, the Pine Bluff Convention Center is getting back to business and will host the Carden Circus on April 14.
Convention Center Executive Director Joseph McCorvy told Deltaplex News Friday that the circus will be the first big event since COVID.
McCorvy was asked why the decision was made to bring the circus to the convention center.
Asked if the King Cotton Holiday basketball tournament will be back this year after being canceled last year, McCorvy said an announcement on that will be made in the next couple of weeks and went on to say that other events are already scheduled.
