Community’s Help Needed to Identify Suspects in Monday’s Murder

The Pine Bluff Police Department (PBPD) has confirmed the identity of a man killed in a Monday morning shooting as 29-year-old Courtney Lane of Pine Bluff.  PBPD officials say they released his name after his family had been notified.

An unidentified adult male was taken to the hospital on Monday with serious injuries.

The Pine Bluff Detective’s Office has also obtained video and images from a surveillance camera that captured the shooting. Due to the graphic nature of the video, it is not being released at this time; however a still image has been released. The gray car within the red circle is the suspect vehicle. That photo is being shared in the hopes someone will be able to identify the persons responsible for this murder.

“As stated before, the area of 26th and Olive Street in Pine Bluff at the time this occurred, is a very busy street.  We are asking for the citizens who witnessed this to come forward and provide what information they saw,” Officer Richard Wegner, public information officer, said on the PBPD’s Facebook page.
