Cleveland County has recorded its second COVID-19 death following the death of a 83-year-old white female at Jefferson Regional on Thursday.

Cleveland County’s first COVID death was recorded on July 22 when a 76-year-old white female from Kingsland succumbed to the virus.

As of Thursday evening the Arkansas Department of Health shows Cleveland County with 63 total cases, with 14 of those being active. 48 people in the county have recovered from the virus.
