Summit Soundz Celebration Band will present a Christmas Concert Extravaganza on Sunday, December 16, 2018.
This event will begin at 6:00pm in the worship center of Summit Baptist Church, located at 901 Ridgway Road in Pine Bluff. The concert will include many Christmas favorites such as “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” featuring Ben Neal on Bari Sax and “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” spotlighting Jerry Earnest on Alto Sax.
Area Band Directors featured on solos are Kameron Willis, director of Bands at White Hall High School; Garry Henson, Watson Chapel Junior High Band Director; and Al Wimberly, director of Bands for Watson Chapel High School.
“Summit Soundz is made up of high school students from White Hall, Watson Chapel and Star City,” says Lewis Hinkle, worship pastor at Summit. “All of these students are incredible musicians! Let this concert be a part of your Christmas celebration.”
A visit from Santa will happen during the concert with photo opportunities following the program. The concert is free of charge and open to the public.
