Since the murder of 16-year-old Damien Pierson on July 15, Pine Bluff Police have arrested four teenagers for capital murder, all of them 17 years old, and all reportedly involved in a gang.
On Tuesday, Pine Bluff Police Chief Denise Richardson and Chris Har, the CEO of Central Moloney were guests on the Oldies 1013 morning show to announce a $150,000 contribution the company had made to the police department to pay bonuses to officers and set up a foundation to accept other contributions.
While on the show, Richardson was asked about those arrests and about older males telling the younger members of the gang what to do. Morning show host Greg Horne asked her what can be done about that and she answered this way.
Hart then spoke up and said this.
Horne said “you all can’t prevent the crime to which Richardson responded this way.
