The Arkansas Department of Workforce Services is encouraging those who have applied for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance and haven’t received it to pay attention to emails.
The department says in order to receive the PUA, a person must upload a photo I.D. to the system. DWS says they sent emails stating the requirement, but they say they’ve only received about a 25% response to the emails.
The department says that another issue could be causing some problems as well. An additional four weeks of benefits have been added by Congress. An applicant must go back and follow the instructions for the added weeks.
