A retired educator with 41 years of experience is one of two candidates seeking the vacant Zone 7 seat on the Pine Bluff School Board on Nov. 5.
Charlene Wright is running against Patrick Lockett for the position and when she appeared on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show, she was asked why she was seeking the job.
Wright said she went to the Arkansas Education Association website to find out exactly what the requirements for a school board member are.
Morning Show host Greg Horne told Wright that there are a lot of issues with the Pine Bluff School Board and he asked her what she thought some of those issues are.
