Amendment, Issue 4. “If Issue 4 passes in the November general election, it will mean economic growth for our community area. The proposed casino/resort promises hundreds of new jobs, new entertainment venues and restaurants, and a tourist draw that will support existing businesses with its influx of visitors. Tax revenue from the casino also will provide city and county governments with funding for programs at a time when budget constraints are restricting growth and affecting services. This is an opportunity to keep money in Arkansas—and bring millions of dollars to Jefferson County” Fakouri says.
