Central Moloney Inc., announced Wednesday that it will open a new plant in Florida that will eventually employ up to 200 people.

According to a press release, “due to an increased presence in the transformer market and ever-increasing demand for its services,”  the decision was made to open the new facility.

Appearing on the Oldies 101.3 morning show, Chris Hart, President, and CEO of Central Moloney explained more details about the decision)

Hart said Central Moloney is a 100 percent employee-owned company and has been that way since 1998 and went on to talk about the Pine Bluff plant.

He was asked if the building where the company will locate currently exists or will they have to build something.

Hart said like other manufacturers, Central Moloney will be at the mercy of suppliers for the needed equipment but the goal is for the new plant to be un and producing transformers by the end of the year.
