The welding program at Watson Chapel High School, sponsored by Central Moloney is up and running and on Thursday, Chris Hart, president, and CEO of Central Moloney said the program will be expanding to another school.

Appearing on the Oldies 1013 morning show, Hart said this.

Hart said the class at Watson Chapel recently spent the day at Central M Moloney’s plant on 6th Avenue.

Central Moloney recently hired Dr. Andrew Curry, formerly the superintendent of the Watson Chapel School District who Hart said is the point person for the program.

Hart also talked about the company’s involvement in the Pine Bluff School District, specifically Superintendent Barbara Warren.

He said it will probably be next year before the program is available in the Pine Bluff District because it still has to be approved by the state which runs the district
