The CARTI Cancer Center Pine Bluff hosted its ribbon-cutting ceremony at their newly built facility at 4303 S. Mulberry Street for its grand opening on Friday, April 29th. The treatment facility provides medical oncology, radiation oncology, and breast surgery consultations. CARTI chair Terry Vick and President and CEO Adam Head led the ceremony outside of the newly built center, alongside their Pine Bluff team, Mayor Shirley Washington, Jefferson County Judge Gerald Robinson, and Pine Bluff Alliance and Chamber.

During the ceremony, Head explained CARTI’s mission, what they offer, and the reason they decided to open this facility in southeast Arkansas.

Judge Robinson also gave a few words at the ceremony touching on the relationship he’s built with the  CARTI team.

Deltaplex News was present at the ceremony and after being asked what the community should expect now that the facility has opened, Head responded this way.

CARTI Pine Bluff’s hours of operations are Monday-Friday 7:30 am until 4 pm and the public can contact them for details or schedule an appointment at 870-535-4221.
