A Cabot man was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Lonoke County Tuesday.
According to a preliminary report, Bradley C. Clayton, 51, was northbound on Arkansas Highway 89 Jeffery Lane when the 2015 Chevrolet Sonic he was driving crossed the center line and into the path of a 2013 Peterbilt that was southbound, striking the vehicle head-on.
Clayton was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident was reported at 9:38 a.m. and the death was the 531st so far this year on the state’s highways.
