Bruce Westerman officially announced his run for a fourth term as congressman from the Fourth Congressional District of Arkansas. He issued a statement via his Facebook page Tuesday saying:

“I am honored to officially file to run for my fourth term as congressman from the Fourth Congressional District of Arkansas. Serving the people of the Fourth District has been an honor, and we have accomplished so much since 2014. However, with the Democrats in the majority this Congress, it has been a complete clown show. Impeachment has been Democrats’ first priority since President Trump was elected. This has completely prevented Congress from working on legislation that would move our country forward. I am grateful for what we have accomplished so far, but there is much left to do. That is why I am running for a fourth term. Republicans must fight to take back the House in 2020, and bring actual legislation back to Washington, DC. During my fourth term in Congress, I will continue pushing for fewer regulations, lower taxes, environmental stewardship, and a high quality health care system that lowers prices and provides fairness. I will stand up for 2 more years of less hassle, and more freedom.”
