The Breast Cancer Center at Jefferson Regional Hospital is completed and it is open for the public as of Thursday, July 15. Employees of the hospital, CEO Brian Thomas, and members of the Pine Bluff Regional Chamber conducted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the center’s grand opening. Thomas spoke with Deltaplex on behalf of the center and explained the impact that this will bring to Pine Bluff and southeast Arkansas as a whole.
Thomas also congratulated the director of Imaging Services, Wayne Harris, along with the nanotechnologist who he credited as helping to develop the design of the facility. The Chamber of Commerce director Ulanda Arnett was amongst members of the chamber that participated in the cutting ceremony and told Deltaplex their role in celebrating the center.
The center is located on the second floor of the Jefferson Professional Building No. 1, located directly across from the hospital on West 40th avenue. The center currently has three main physicians and hours of operation are 24 hours. For more information, interested residents can contact them at 870-541-3230.
