Boys and Girls CEO talks resignation and plans for replacement

After more than eight years as CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of Jefferson County, Nyeshia Aldridge has announced her resignation.

Appearing on the Oldies 1013 morning show Thursday, host Greg Horne told Aldridge that she had done a great job expanding the club and its programs.

Aldridge will continue to serve as CEO until Jan. 27 and was asked what was going to happen after that.

She went on to talk about the board and its importance.

Aldridge said five applications have been received so far and the executive committee of the board, and past president, will make the decision on who to hire.

She has accepted a position as Director of Community Outreach at Emergency Ambulance Service, In., (EASI) and said she has loved the time she has spent running the Boys and Girls Club.
