A $10,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff woman accused of being intoxicated in a smoking apartment where two small children were present.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Brittany Price, 29, with two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.

When police arrived at the apartment complex, they found Price, who is five-months pregnant sitting in a chair apparently intoxicated and two children, ages 6 and 8 with no other adult supervision.

Deputy Prosecutor Maxie Kizer said Price is currently on felony probation and has had multiple failure to appear charges in municipal court.

The Public Defender’s Office was appointed to represent Price, who was ordered to have no contact with the children until the case is settled.
