A $10,000 bond was set Tuesday for a Pine Bluff man accused of pointing a gun at two people.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Gregory Christopher, 56, with two counts of aggravated assault.

Reading from a probable cause affidavit from Detective Enrique Soto, Deputy Prosecutor Mircha King said police responded to a reported domestic disturbance in the 800 block of West 22nd Avenue where the victim said she and Christopher, her boyfriend had gotten into a physical altercation.

She said during the altercation, Christopher pointed a gun at her and her daughter and chambered a round.

When Christopher was questioned, he denied having a gun and said the altercation was over infidelity.

The Public Defender’s Office was appointed to represent Christopher and he was ordered to have no contact with the victim or her daughter.
