A 19-year-old Pine Bluff woman was arrested Thursday after she attempted to cash four checks that had allegedly been forged.

During a court hearing Friday, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West said Taniya White was taken into custody after officers were sent to Relyance Bank on East Harding Avenue in reference to a forgery allegation.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $5,000 bond for White after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge her with four counts of forgery.

White was told to come back to court on June 16.
