Star City Schools received a note that was left on a teacher’s desk insinuating a bomb threat to staff and students. They evacuated all students and staff from the Middle School and High School buildings and are working with The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department and the Star City Police Departments Friday afternoon. All Students and Staff are reported safe.
They are currently working with local law enforcement with a dog to clear the Middle School and High School buildings.
UPDATE: All buildings have been cleared by The Sheriff’s Office and Police Departments. The threat was unsubstantiated and resume normal school operations .
The Star City School District was dismissed early today at 2:00 PM Buses will run normally at this time.
