On Tuesday, November 1, 2022, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Old Warren Road and Gibbins Road in regards to a body that was found. The body was sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for autopsy, identification and manner of death.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has been notified that the identity of the remains has been confirmed through DNA testing to be that of Jesse Burk, age 31 of Pine Bluff, AR. The manner of death has been ruled as homicide.
The investigation is active and ongoing and more information will be released as it is available.
