Bobby Joe Carper was born on November 12, 1942 to Pershing John and Anna Bell Burns Carper in Bryant, Arkansas. He departed this life in the morning hours on Friday, December 20, 2019 at his home in Stuttgart, Arkansas at the age of 77 blessed years.

He was a graduate of Stuttgart High School. Bobby Joe was a proud Veteran, as he served his country in the United States Army.

Bobby Joe enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s football games; he was their #1 fan. He was most impressed with Pam Dean, Apostle Victor Johnson and Victors’ Empowerment Center for being a part of his grandchildren’s lives. He also loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Pershing and Anna Carper; brothers Billy John ‘Stick’ Carper and Glen Dale Carper; and sister Ruth Ellen Carper Shores.

He leaves to cherish his memory six children Mary Carper (Jarris) Lavine and Tina Carper (Kirk) Geans, both of Stuttgart, AR, Lisa Carper Finch, Bob Carper, and Dennis Carper, all of Tucson, AZ, and Kathleen Jordan of Bullhead City, AZ; grandchildren Ashley Fay Nail and Michelle Dorman, both of Bullhead City, AZ, Kirk Hughes, Jr., Kasandra Hughes, Grace Earl, Aliyah Smith, Calvin Smith III, Stephen Carper, Christina Carper, Anthony Geans, and Marrisa Hill, all of Stuttgart, AR,  and Catlyn Finch and Nicholas Finch  of Tucson, AZ; eight great-grandchildren; sister Judy Gayle Carper Mcinvale of Stuttgart, AR; brother Ricky Dean Carper of South Carolina; nieces Diana White, Danyell Freet, Debbie Scholl, Sharen Essex, Karen Black, and Teressa Ricks; nephew John Paul Carper; and a host of other relatives and friends.
