BGCJC Executive Director and PBAHLP talks COVID-19 Drive-Thru testing

The Advancing Health Literacy Program is teaming up with the Boys and Girls Club of Jefferson County to offer COVID-19 drive-thru testing to area residents.

On Tuesday, Nyeshia Aldridge, Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club was joined by Scott Solomon and Deseray McKinzy of AHLF to talk about the program, starting with Solomon.

Aldridge said the ultimate goal is to conduct testing on a bi-weekly basis at the Townsend Park site at 2701 S. Reeker St, beginning March 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

She went on to say that the testing will be done on a drive-through basis and will be a self-test.

McKinzy also talked about an upcoming health fair that AHLP is conducting.
