On November 14, 2019, Toran Conaway was taken into custody by the Pine Bluff Police Department’s Detective and Violent Crimes Divisions.
Conaway was wanted for Capital Murder of Alfred Flowers Jr. and Abuse of A Corpse, in reference to an incident that occurred on November 11th at 2306 E. Pullen Street.
On November 9th, the Pine Bluff Police Department were called to a vehicle fire in the 2300 block of East Pullen. Once the fire was extinguished, a body was found inside the car. The incident was investigated as a homicide from the beginning. Thee victim was later identified as 43 year old Alfred Flowers Jr. of Pine Bluff and the burned vehicle was his.
