An Arkansas teenager has died after visiting a Shreveport water park Thursday afternoon.
The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office has identified the apparent drowning victim as Kendall Williams, 13, of El Dorado.
The boy died after arriving at the hospital.
He had been found face-down in a swimming pool at Splash Kingdom.
The boy reportedly went underwater and did not come back up. He was pulled from the water and CPR was performed, but he did not respond.
He died after being taken to Willis-Knighton South Medical Center. An autopsy has been ordered at Ochsner LSU Health hospital to determine a cause of death.
