Arkansas State Police Troopers and Jefferson County Deputies responded to a situation on I-530 near Redfield Saturday afternoon involving an 18 Wheeler that had parked in a lane of travel on the interstate, leading to the driver of the truck getting out of his vehicle and attempting to flag down traffic.
Law enforcement sources say the driver was either having a severe hallucinating episode or was under the influence of drugs.
Sources tell Deltaplex News that the driver of the truck has been taken to a hospital for treatment. It is unclear if he will face any charges from the incident.
