The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration will open the following revenue offices from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 26:

To obtain a REAL ID, residents must provide documentation confirming proof of residency, legal presence, identity, and Social Security number. Required documents include:

  • Passport or birth certificate
  • Two proof of address documents, such as utility bills or bank statements (dated within the last six months)
  • Proof of identity (e.g., Current Driver’s License, School or Work ID card)
  • Social Security card

  • Name change justification (e.g., Marriage Certificate, Divorce Decree, Court order)

The cost of obtaining a REAL ID is the same as getting or renewing a regular license or ID. It is $10 to transfer an existing expiration date on a license or ID to a REAL ID. A new, eight-year REAL ID costs $40.
