Oklahoma and Arkansas may be rivals in some areas, but they are getting together to grow the aerospace industry in the region.

Yesterday, Governor Asa Hutchinson and Oklahoma’s Governor Kevin Stitt met in Tulsa to announce the partnership. The two Governors hope it will put Arkansas and Oklahoma on the map as a hub for developing new technologies in the field of transportation by being able to attract new companies. The electric vehicle maker Canoo, currently building it’s new manufacturing facility in Pryor, Oklahoma, will expand by moving it’s headquarters to Bentonville.
