The Arkansas High School Coaches Association executive committee informed the AAA board of directors that the annual All-Star games will be discontinued. That decision comes after declining participation from both athletes and coaches in recent years.
In place of the All-Star game contests, the AHSCA will name All-Star rosters for each sport and recognize those athletes and coaches for their accomplishments.
