AP #12 Arkansas Extends Streak To 10

The Associated Press twelfth ranked Arkansas Razorbacks stretched their winning streak to 10 games, knocking off SEC opponent South Carolina 101-72 at Colonial Life Arena last night. The Hogs are ranked thirteenth in the nation’s Coaches Poll.

Little Rock native Moses Moody tied a career high in points(28), field goals made(10), three pointers made(4), as well as setting the freshman mark in made free throws(120). Justin Smith tied his season high with 22 points, while J.D. Notae contributed 21 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 steals in the win, the first Razorback to do so since 1997.

Head Coach Eric Musselman, the only Razorback head coach to get at least 20 wins in his first two seasons, secured his 20th victory of this year and the 150th of his career. Musselman has won at least 20 games in every season as a collegiate head coach.

Arkansas closes out the regular season with ten consecutive conference victories, heading into the regular season finale hosting Texas A&M. Despite the outcome of Saturday’s match-up, the Hardwood Hogs have secured the #2 seed for next week’s SEC tournament.
