ANOTHER ALL-REGION HONOR FOR BORMAN

PEMBROKE, NC – University of Arkansas at Monticello senior Dylan Borman earned another honor from the National Collegiate Baseball Writer’s Association (NCBWA) after being named Postseason All-Central Region.

Borman was selected Second Team All-Central Region at shortstop after leading the Weevils with 16 home runs this season including a two-run shot in the semifinals of the Great American Conference Tournament.

This season the senior shortstop hit .338 with 40 RBI, 38 runs scored and a career-high 16 home runs. Borman also led UAM in slugging percentage by adding 11 doubles to his season totals. He collected 46 total hits on the season including posting 14 multi-hit games and two-multi-home run performances.

Borman finishes his career in a Weevil uniform second in career home runs with 39 and fourth in RBI with 139.

The 6’5″ shortstop also garnered First Team All-GAC, D2CCA First Team All-Central Region and NCBWA Second Team All-Central Region following his stellar senior campaign.
