An Altheimer woman was arrested Monday after she allegedly took a car belonging to another woman.

During a court hearing Wednesday, Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $5,000 bond for Christa Rose Daniels, 29, after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge her with theft of property.

Reading from an affidavit from Sheriff’s Lt. Kaylon McDaniel, Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander explained the circumstances leading opt the arrest.

Alexander said Daniels was placed on probation in September on misdemeanor theft of property, reduced from a felony.

She was told to come back to court on Dec. 29.
