The city of Altheimer Mayor Zola Hudson confirmed that the city is currently under a boil order after a water line burst which has also caused sewers to back up.
Jefferson County Judge Gerald Robinson sent extra help from the county’s road department and 8 pallets of water.
The Saracen Casino also contributed 5,000 bottles of water to Altheimer’s city hall.
