Alice in Chains will be honored in their hometown of Seattle with the Museum of Pop Culture’s 2020 Founders Award.

The annual title is given to “artists whose noteworthy contributions continue to nurture the next generation of risk-takers.”

This year’s ceremony takes place December 1, and will air virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It will feature a performance from Alice in Chains, plus an “acclaimed lineup of guest and youth musicians who will put their own twist on some of the band’s most iconic songs.”
